I like the wood too, I wouldn't have ordered it that way but I would drive it!

That's good value I think, even if a tippy and high mileage.

Agreed, unless it needs $10K in work to be set right....

Yep, they dropped the price from $39K down to $37K. I've never seen his car in person, but I'm assuming it's clean and we all know he brought it to the dealer for every little thing...

@ $30K it's a good deal and probably has a ton of life left, although he seemed to be having small problems constantly.

https://m.ebay.com/itm/2002-Porsche-...app-cvip-panel

I think that sold at a pretty great price based on mileage and year.

I do not think it sold. The seller stated the reserve was $45k.

I think the seller did not set a reserve. He may reneg on the deal, but as it stands that auction successfully closed. A reserve not met auction I am pretty says so clearly that the bidding has ended and reserve was not met.

Just FYI, regardless of whether an eBay vehicle auction shows as 'sold', a huge number of them never actually transact between the auctions buyer and seller... I've heard less than half, and that's half of the vehicle that actually hit reserve and are marked 'sold'.

From the eBay user agreement here:

"For motor vehicles and real estate, a bid or offer initiates a non-binding transaction representing a buyer's serious expression of interest in buying the seller's item and does not create a formal contract between the buyer and the seller"
It's really just a glorified classifieds ad...

Good catch! I didn’t realize motors had different rules about the bid being binding.
