Based on my observations, manufacturers shouldn't be installing direction/turn signals on any vehicle. The majority of people I see never use them anyway (which is unfortunate.)
I love mine, I cannot figure out if the drop in temps was due to the removal of crud, or the improved thermal efficiency of the CSF units...
Warrantied for life too, cannot go wrong with them...
CSF claims cooler temps. Dual row core versus single row might have something to do with it. Very satisfying to clean everything in the area. The CSF aluminum is noticeably lighter than the OEM rads.
That makes sense - you wouldn't happen to have before/after data, would you...?
No. Sorry. But, Right and Left OEM were weeping at the core level. Even still, I was at the 180 mark on the gauge. The center radiator makes a big difference. My 99 c2 runs to the right of 180 - the center radiator mod would help, I wager. I won’t know the results of the CSF until spring time. For now, winter projects.
First, below is a picture of the phone / USB interface mounted in the glove box. Installing it here instead of the storage tray in the center dash leaves that space free and looks much better IMO.
And the PCCM+ unit all mounted with trim reinstalled, just prior to removing the protective film on the screen:
After being able to use the PCCM+ now for a week, I can wholeheartedly state this is one amazing upgrade over the ancient PCM2 system it replaced.
Just think of what can be had with a much deeper dive... That film works well, he must have done well with it. Was he DEI (I am familiar with them) or did he just sell them the tech?
This was before DEI. This stuff has been around for ages. My father used the gold stuff I'm pretty sure when building the LEM that went to the moon.
