Today, since Friday's heavy rain washed away all traces of salt and that we're having a beautiful day, I will take the baby out for a spirited drive before it gets locked up in the garage for the remainder of the winter. Yesterday, I removed all wiring from a stupid loud sound system left behind by previous owner -- who on earth would install such piece of junk in this car when the engine plays such a beautiful Wagnerian symphony? I didn't take pics of the work but here are some of my adored 996 C4 to show how versatile a 911 can be: do your shopping... carry the bike...

Perfect day to clean and wax, before putting her in the garage winter hibernation (about a month late). After parking and covering with soft cotton sheets and car covers, I noticed a large puddle of what look like greenish liquid on the floor by rear passenger side wheel.. Oh crap this isn't good... This can't be, car hasn't even turned16.. Turned out the green fluid turned was Meguiars Detailer, the bottle fell off a shelf hit the floor and leaked all over...Was never so happy to clean my floor, now have the only Detailed floor in Ct.

Was on ebay. Took less than an hour to remove the pump/lines and install the mechanical rods. The kit came with a wrench and was very easy to install.
On the alignment, I did it myself. The camber/caster and front toe were fine. The Rear camber was fine. The rear toe was ridiculous. It was nearly 5/16ths "IN". Do I pulled all but 1/16th out of it and the car handles so much better now. I highly recommend buying your own tools and learning to set your own suspension.
