I'd let mine go for half that if anyone's interested. I'll even include shipping.

Update- they replied and said they are out of inventory and is a placeholder.

I just had a set sent to a customer. Clint told me he is now out of stock and gearing up with a new mold for version 2. He is discouraging orders by changing the price to something nobody would order, until he gets more stock. I suppose it is one way to handle the situation. BTW, that's my hand, screwdriver and car in that picture!

Hope the new version of the light saves are more durable. My set separated near the screws after the first month. The pieces that are left do keep my tail lights in place, so you could say they are still working. They just look janky. And I did not over tighten, just cheap type of plastic.

Installed the elephant racing monoball inserts in the rear strut top hats. Going for a drive this morning to see if I can tell a difference.

You can reform those easy with a hammer and a round piece of steel of 1" or greater as long as it has some mass to it. Put the piece of metal on the inside of the tip and tap the outside in a sandwiching action the metal will reform back round. Then use some scotchbrite to clean it up.

Oh yes - I am not irritated about my ability to reform them, I am irritated that I have damaged the ceramic coating which is not so easy to fix.

Also completely irritated at myself for being so dumb in the first place - you when you look at an approach and your first thoughts are 'Ahhh, maybe not...' Then, as traffic plagues you, you convince yourself by saying, 'Well if I get the angle right...'

I didn't get the angle right and the moral of the thought is go with the first thought and stop listening to the lil Devil...

It's a bummer but it happens to the best.
