Did the first leg of our annual Hangover Rally. Made it to the top of Stunt Road in Malibu. Something let loose, and you can see the oil smoke coming off the top of the engine. :-( Well, it was fun while it lasted. No measurable oil loss, but I drove less than flat out the rest of the day.
Looks great, always a nice looking color combo. Raw polished lips and barrels? It's a hard life. I have found that this stuff called shine seal works pretty well at keeping them protected from oxidation. You just have to rinse them off with water frequently, as even shine seal won't protect from brake dust/gunk sitting on them for an extended period of time.

Thanks for the tip! I'll certainly give that a try. Yeah, I went with these wheels knowing there would be pain points but I just love their classic motorsport look and wanted a change from the stock look. Especially as the car ages, I like that they offer a little more pop.
