What did you do to your 996TT today?

Paul, my plugs didn't look all that different from yours, maybe a little darker in color. Coil packs looked fine, as far as I could tell. I replaced them anyways. Had the updated parts and its too much labor to not do them...

The car had no misfires or DTC codes before replacement (though my understanding is that driving in wet conditions is when micro-cracked coil packs like to misfire, not the environment I was driving in). They were changed preventatively prior to installing a tune and as part of a 60K full refresh I did on my car...
I was told by several tuners that our cars go through plugs relatively fast, and that the OEM 30K service interval was stretching it on an untuned car, and way to long of an interval on a tuned car...

The coil packs looked perfect. I saved them to have as back ups because they looked so good. They're 15 years/31k miles old. Getting the new 997 coils to fit was a PITA! The middle coil on the passenger side interferes with the turbo oil line just enough to make it really hard to get the bolts in without cross threading them. I managed to make it happen as there's a little bit of play with that oil line but it didn't just drop right in there. They're much wider than the older 996 coils...

Those wheels do look great, very aggressive!
Busy couple of weeks for me. I got my car through smog with the stock exhaust, then re-installed the Kline with a brand new set of HJS 200cell Sport cats. I also had the brake fluid flushed and finally got around to putting on a steering wheel I bought back in May from a local Turbo owner who sold his ride. Oh, I also moved my family across the Bay from SF to San Ramon. New driveway is very very approachable, so I will FINALLY be able to lower my car soon.

Did a quick boost pressure test... It's been about six months since I fixed some boost leaks and was curious how it was holding up. Answer? Just fine! held 17 PSI, loosing only a half pound in sixty seconds.
