What did you do to your 996TT today?

Three Wheelin'
Okay, I'm cheating, because it was Friday-Sunday, but I put 700+ miles on my TT going to and from Rennsport Reunion and around the Monterey Bay area. Total Porsche orgy.
Some pics: https://flic.kr/s/aHskkBYFAU
Killed a lot of bugs getting there and back.

Planning on replacing all 3 Belt pulleys this weekend + the belt. Should get rid of the whirring at RPM that its had since I got it in May. It has progressively gotten worse over the past 8K miles.
Got two of three done, whirring is gone but I still need to replace the tensioner pulley. I am short a 24mm wrench...

Decided to keep the TT instead of going the Spec Boxster route after attending Rennsport. First order of business:
- Ordered 996 Cup Wheel from Gert
- Called up Rothsport to get full welded cage installed by end of year
Now I just need to strip what's left of my interior and get it ready for the full cage and sunroof delete. I have a red GMG WC harness bar if anybody is interested

I think it was the raw emotion of the 911 compared to the Spec Boxster putting around the track getting passed by the other classes. I've also never seen so many 996s keeping up with the new toys and would love to do some vintage racing with a turbo RSR replica in the future
Good to hear, I've been following you guys on the GT3 forum over the years and building up parts.
I'll post some updates after I finish the interior and drop the car off later this year.

i inspected my newly acquired e-gas spring booster module and although installation looks idiot proof, I've decided to wait until help arrives, as then i'll attempt it knowing my buddy can stop me if i begin to inadvertently remove the dashboard lol

Finished pulley and belt install, so nice to finally hear the engine like your supposed to and not wonder why the 'power steering pump' is so loud!
Installed my Function First shifter bearing kit, ended up keeping the B&M SS kit with some upgraded/new nylon washers and cleaned up the interior really well while i had it all apart.
I just love making this car better than it was when I bought it, so fun to drive. This has been a rewarding experience so far! (and only sometimes frustrating)

Quick wash and then polished out a wiper scratch on the windshield. Would have posted before and after pics, but too hard to see the scratch. Used the Eastwood kit and was done in 30 min
