Yeah, glad that the shop that was doing the tech inspection caught it. I still use the brake too much..

Any updates? Are people still using mostly the brakeperformance ones? The guys that use the 350MM fronts, what do you use for rears?

Do 996 and 997.1 (steel brake) GT3's use the same front AND rear rotors?

I installed a set of Centric slotted rotors on the back of my 6GT3 a few months ago. They cross-reference with Panamera rears.
Part #'s are 226.37039 and 226.37040. They are ~$45 each from Amazon.

Fronts are not the same- I use Centric/Stoptech Cayenne rotors, 125.33090 and 125.33091.

Are you still running factory steel sized 330m rear disc or the PCCB sized 350mm?
Fronts are same 996GT2/GT2/CayenneS/997.1GT3
Rears if 350mm, can use 997TT/GT3/Panamera Turbo etc..

I was interested in the Panamera slotted discs when Centric was introducing them, but haven't seen any pictures to see if similar to OE style. Could you take a few?

Wow 45 a piece! Can't beat that.

Do you know if those same part numbers will work for 07 GT3 with steel brakes? I'm unclear if the 996 GT3 and my car use the same rear brake rotor. I think 997.1 steel brakes are 350mm front and 350mm rear, is it the same for 996 GT3?

Yes...996 with 350mm discs are same discs as 997.1GT3
If you have PCCB calipers you have 350mm disc front and rear...if steel(red) calipers then you have 350f/330r mm discs...a spacer under rear caliper mounts can make them 350mm compatible as well.

Sorry are you referring to 996 or 997? I have red calipers and steel rotors on my 07 so I need 350MM fronts and 330MM rears?

If that's true I can run these for fronts:
Amazon.com: StopTech 125.33090 Premium Brake Rotor: Automotive Amazon.com: StopTech 125.33090 Premium Brake Rotor: Automotive

And these for rears?
Amazon.com: Centric 226.37039 Brake Rotor: Automotive Amazon.com: Centric 226.37039 Brake Rotor: Automotive

Or are the rears above 350mm which are too big?

996GT with factory steel/red caliper= 350mmF/330mmR
996 with PCCB/yellow caliper = 350mmF/350mmR
997.1GT3 with steel/red =350mmF/350mmR

Correction...was right the first time! lol I'm losing it...

Thanks, do you know if these rears are 330 or 350mm? Doesn't say on the Amazon page.

the 226.37039 and 226.37040(right/left handed) are 330mm diameter for lower-end Panamera's.
changing the last two numbers to 54 and 55 gets you 350mm from the PanaTT

Thanks, and the PanaTT 350mm fits 997 GT3?

About to pull the trigger just want to confirm these are the 4 part numbers I need for a 07 GT3 with steel brakes (350mm all 4 corners).
