All things considered though, 996’s on BAT seem to sell for a premium. Used to be able to get some really good deals on there. Lately it should be bring a trailer full of cash.

His car is worth every bit of the money it brought. I'm surprised it didn't go for more with the maintenance history (not to mention who did the maintenance) and relatively low miles. I'd expect someone to list that car for privately for about the same money and get close to asking. BAT seems to be adding about a $5k premium to 996 prices lately so he may have B3 may have come up a little short.

DIY just a couple of hundred dollars from a dismantler. Brand new headliner from factory w/labor probably a couple thousand dollars because it looks like a brand new pre-cut headliner is about $1,900 though I didn't look very hard for a bargain on either end. Plenty of dismantled parts on eBay per usual.
