'00 996 EV conversion. I would actually be interested if it were drivable and priced a bit lower...

That is something, but as modded cars go that's not too bad in my opinion. The faux CF seats are the only thing that really concern me. The rest I'm not opposed to other than the 50HP K&N upgrade, but that's easy enough to fix.
Yes I actually like the blue

Yeah that does kinda kills it. Maybe $17k with good proof that it was nothing serious (structurally) and/or was repaired correctly. Without solid proof, $15k tops I'd say.

Speaking of rebuilt & blue, this car was up for sale in January asking $33,000 by Rennlister Cardsrule, now it's at a used car dealership in Phoenix asking $26,500.

Don't know if Cardsrule is still the seller - looks like he's listed several cars for sale on Rennlist over the past few years, so he may have a dealer's license (I have one, so not hatin' on him). But, if I were thinking seriously about a 996tt and didn't have to have a virgin, unmolested model, I'd think seriously hard about this one. At that price, you could always stick it on Copart (the online insurance auction) and get your money back if you didn't like it.

It doesn't mention anything though about AC and Heat.

This may be earlier in this mega-thread, but what tool are you guys using to search bunches of craigslist sites for these vehicles. Are they any good, or do you get a lot of non p-cars filtered into results because of keyword spam?

I wonder if converting to electric is less expensive than a rebuild.
