I'll post a pic of the dyno run next week with exact numbers while I do not have it at hand just now, but some observations of a 3,8l 996C4S conversion. It was customer's car to which we did tuning (for the record I just install and datalog tunes...) including dyno runs at 3rd party dyno.
The car has a GT3 throttle body and 997's fuel rails with injectors, but OEM air filter box and completely original exhaust without any mods whatsover. After the dyno owner started to think about freeing both intake and exhaust... Engine produces a healthy torque of ~400 Nm (295 lbft) but falls on it's face at higher rpm range at only ~340 hp, top of the curve is flat. Numbers are from crank and datalogged MAF #'s are equal.
Pretty satisfying to meaningfully add to the thread. The tuner sent me the graph he saved, its from the 462HP run, we got a little more out of it but lost the graph to computer abyss, so we'll go with 462 for internet bragging purposes. This was on a Mustang chassis dyno
The engine: GM 6.2L L92 converted to LS3 spec with manifold / throttle body / injectors. Engine management is the stock GM ECU modified with HP tuners software.

Yeah man - seems like a pretty strong power number, high end of what we've seen on a 4.0.... Seems to me like every M96 graph I have seen seems so lean for what I would generally think would be a safe target for a NA car... Guess it shows how little I know about tuning, especially on a NA application. In the turbo days it was like - get it to 11.3-11.5ish under moderate boost and should be OK. I think my tuner for the LS had AFR around 12.5.
Got me curious so I snipped AFR from other guys that included...

These are Schrick Cams, however they were from the original rebuild years ago when the IMS bearing went boom with the previous owner. Bore Scoring issues (what prompted my rebuild) weren't a known issue when the 1st rebuild happened, so here we are with rebuild #2.
Schrick Cams part numbers were noted on 1st rebuild paperwork as follows:

The cams, an IPD Plenum, and GT3 Throttle body were all part of the original rebuild. All of which were retained for rebuild #2.

@Justin76@sdwindr1 - I'm in a similar boat with my 3.8 build - Schrick cams, IPD, GT3TB, etc., however, no tune as of yet...Is Softronic the way to go?
