I like the way things are trending for the 99 and the MK1 in general. Makes me feel like I got a steal at under 10k

No doubt, got mine with 51k miles for 18k. Would have preferred a coupe but I think the 911 is one of those cars that looks great in either configuration. So many cars the convertible version looks like an afterthought.

Agree. It’s just a rarity thing. I’m with you, I would rather have a higher mileage car with an engine replacement or rebuild than a stocker with low miles.

This one should top 35K. Maybe 40k? I could be way off but it seems perfect.

And being sold by no other than Gregg from FirstFlatSix.com! Love the color but personally I could never get behind the gray interiors. I'm sure it will fetch some good money.

I was just thinking about this. Casually looking for an e46 M3 for my wife and interior colors can cause a big swing in pricing for those cars. Wonder how much of a bearing it has on 996 pricing.

Boils down to personal preference, but at the end of the day certain color schemes will always take higher dollar regardless of manufacturer.

Personally, I think that lighter interior colors just don't age as well and show wear a lot more. Having said that, the blue car either had been properly cleaned and prepped before sale or the previous owner did a fantastic job is maintaining the interior.

I got one with the grey interior and it hasn't been a problem. Just got to clean and condition it every so often and they wear well. Plenty of grey interiors out there with plenty of used parts available if you have a problem.

I had a nice low mileage 03 4s, only 21,700 miles, but then I went and did something stupid......... put 30,300 new miles on it in under 2 years.....LOL Way things are trending I can probably still recoup most of my investment, but I'm not a seller., I'm a driver!

I've been following 996 prices for a little while now and it's crazy to see them go up in value. I thought that the 996 would be my first entry Porsche but seeing cars on bat listed within a few thousand of what a 997 costs I might as well spend more for the 997. Additionally with all the horror stories I've read on here with IMS and bore score issues I'm just thinking of saying **** it and find another weekender. The 996 is a fun car to drive but with the increase in prices plus the looming threat of engine failure I don't have the affinity or risk appetite to jump in.

That said I still want one lol. I'll probably wait for my BMW lease to be up and hop into a used 992.
