That pristine 4s with under 10k miles, X51 and factory sports exhaust...might easily get north of $45k on BaT.
The 99 C4 with Factory Aero in Cobalt Blue is now $30-35k.

Totally agree. I feel as if I brought my undriven car's soul back to life and in the process brought something to life in me that I never knew was missing. Porsche therapy by the mile.

Three Wheelin'
Bought mine with 23k in 2017 and it has 34k now. Drove it a lot when first purchased but the past couple years have changed. It now gets a weekly jog to stretch the legs once a week 40 miles round trip. It may still be low mileage, but it's enjoyed often.

I agree, I put mine away for 5 months, thru the N.E. winters and it's not a daily driver, but weekends for a long ride is the best thing in the world. The only thing that bothers me is every muscle car on Long Island, NY wants to race!

Cobalt Blue on BAT
So it brought in $32k plus buyers fee - prob $34k. I am thinking of 3 possible scenarios:
- There was so much hype in the 996 market about this car that it scared people off.
- There are only so many buyers for non 40AE, non C4s , non Turbo's and recently 2 others had sold for mid 30's effectively drying the market up
- The NA market is dictated by the 40AE's... where you get LSD, Carera GT color, genuine and numbered exclusivity etc etc etc that skittles colors will always fetch less
- All of the above.

yeah i figured this may necessitate a thread of its own in our 996 forum... I was going to add option 5 - which is noone like the "SEA OF GRAY" but thought this maybe too polarizing!
