If you have been on this earth long enough, you see that exterior and interior color preferences go in and out with age groups. Buy the colors you like and don't buy the colors you don't like. It is so easy to "upgrade" and "enhance" the 996 interior that nobody should loose any sleep over it.

Yeah, there is a bit of "butterscotch" to the color. It's a very fine line what works well for tan interiors, much more so than other colors.

What's funny is that 25 years ago, brown dress shoes and brown interiors were out. Burgundy dress shoes and tan and grey interiors were in. Who would have guessed it. Still waiting for yellow and orange **** rugs to come back in from the early 70s.

That's what the Sonderwunsch program is for! Who's gonna be first?

Well bought, as it previously sold for 54 before the engine work. Noticed the buyer is local to the seller and can take advantage of the shop’s warranty if needed. Smartly purchased.

Adjusted for inflation it sold for the same amount in 2023.
That’s pretty close to turbo money, well sold both times.

Any clue as to what makes this so special?

It's red. Younger generation likes bright colors. Looks to be visually taken care of. Hope the bores were scoped and oil tested. The new owner will need to change the water pump. It's timed out.

I would say the high-contrast Black/Savana interior colors are tickling a few fancies ...
