I’m having Chinese.
I’m eating Chinese, drinking a Coke Zero and watching yogis latest adventure fixing the retractable wing. Anyway I have been watching bat and pcar quite a bit. What im finding is real comparable cars at a lot better prices and within 200 miles of me, not auction cars here around the Houston area. The best of all of it, my mechanic can take them for a deep ppi, on top of all that no 5 percent fee. I’m actually going to see a 08 c4s today.

I'd be a millionaire if I bought Apple stock back in 2006, pre iPhone.

Not cashing in
not cashing my Apple stock. Made $20k yesterday on my fidelity portfolio, i need to check my two vanguard accounts. Those are 100 percent individual stocks. I’m not a trader. Anyway my wife sold me on the idea on lending her money to buy a Mac for her business. So we are going to buy that one today Best Buy. In a certain way I owe it to my wife and son that I pd attention to Apple, these two are addicted to whatever products Apple puts out, and the reality is that a bunch of other people around the world are too. I bought aaple in 2009 and have never looked back. After we buy the computer Then go check the Porsche and probable lunch with IPAs.

I also took in my brother in law 41 year old guy when his father passed away. On Thursday I had to go with him in his POS Corolla to discount tire. So I lent him $200 to buy 2 tires, one was on the cords (he doesn’t learn keeps on buying used tires). So on our way back all kind of grinding noises, metal to metal. So now the car is at my friends garage good knows what is going to be, yes i am going to finance him too, he has a disability but it’s a good guy he doesn’t smoke, drink or does drugs. He works a lot sometimes comes home at 4:00 he is a dishwasher, I got him the job at my watering hole, kitchen sometimes open till 1:30 am if they have the crowd. I’m not technically a boomer I was born in 1968, I was always careful with money. Imagine if I was like the three I have living here paycheck to paycheck we would all be out in the street now. Enjoy the tire Pic.

There are still deals out there.
Look what this one went for. 6 spd, hard top. Same owner for 8 years and a 99. Come on based on the market this seems like an awesome deal.

I get the sense the used car bull market is ending, and we may be pulling back to reality.
A 100 mile loaded C8 Corvette with a 119k sticker only bid to 95k on Pcarmarket. Reserve was 125k.
There are a lot of low mile 202X GT4 that have been on the market for a while at 10-20 over MSRP.
on FB Porsche listings, everyone is trashing people for their asking prices, even if they are just a bit over sticker for GT4 and Spyders.
That said, I don’t see 996 prices correcting too much. They have a different supply/demand dynamic.

Cars going on dealtank
considering the tip aero coupe with red interior and bad motor that he sold brought 27k?, that does seem low.

I'm an open outcry options market maker, a dying profession but one I will ride out as long as I can. My sole job is to make 2 sided markets (bid/offer) upon a broker's request, and I even trade AAPL!! Initial Bids and Offers are usually just the starting point of any negotiation, but desperate buyers sometimes lift the first Offer they are shown and sometimes desperate sellers hit the first Bid they are shown. This is no different than in the used car market, a seller can show an Offer price that a knowledgeable buyer would never pay (but someone else might) and a buyer can show a Bid that a knowledgeable seller would never hit. It's the dance in-between and ultimate trading price that becomes the latest data point helping to establish FMV of any asset......until the next trade.

Put 3/98 on your ignore list. Your brain will thank you. I did so the minute he posted the creepshot photos of the teenage girls at the beach.

I’m not a creep
Dude I just posted the shot without thinking. I’m not a creep. My wife and son where right next to me. But since you are holier than god, if you have no sins throw the first stone.
