I splurged in celebration of the car not throwing any codes in 30 miles and ripping like a banshee, she back. The LSD is legit.
I will continue the splurge with many more as the wife and kiddos decided to leave dad to his devices for the night and are on the cape with her sister.
Everything coming up Milhouse at the moment... dangerous.

Yup, About to go pick it up... I'll let you know. I had the same shop corner balance and align it before last season and it was like a different car... it costs a lot of money ($600), but in my experience, its worth it and these guys are professionals at race car setup so I just kind of tell them what I'm thinking and they get it there and give me the why's, which you may have noticed, is a big thing for me.
After the debrief I got when the work was complete - my expectations are high. It was noted that after the additional camber in the front, the 5MM spacer is not enough and leaves the wheel too close to the damper for comfort, so I have to get a couple 10MM spacer in real pronto like.

2968... Well, its not what I was hoping but it is what it is. The weight loss battle continues. This round to you QC Sorry I set all you guys up - I would have bet my left nut I would have seen a lot bigger reduction. The AC compressor was 16LBS all on its own. Battery charged out to PC680, stock passenger seat to the Sparco and on and on... Maybe the last weight was wrong at 3008, don't really know, other than - I'm just going to keep pulling weight out and I'm pulling out big guns for the next round.
Car also threw another PO420 code while driving home. If anyone can let me know which sensors / value boxes to check on my 10 year old durametric software to run this fault down, I would really appreciate it. I'd like to get this sorted without having to just ignore it.
With the not great out of the way - holeee shhhhh does she feel good. With the alignment where its supposed to be it finally feels solid and planted, like it did before I took it apart. Really happy with the initial shakedown on the way home and can not wait to put it to the test. I need to put a slightly bigger spacer up front, with the additional camber added at the LCA the wheel is too close to the damper... so I got to hustle and find a couple 10MM spacers. For anyone wondering, yes - this setup is stiff and I would say most people would find the ride quality on crappy MA roads to be uncomfortable. I may be able to dial some out by playing with the dampers, I have always run them very close to full stiff, now with the heavier springs, it will be interesting to dial it back a bit and see what the difference is with the damper more in the mid of its adjustment range.
Here's the setup sheet for anyone interested
Also, continuing to take care of some pre-track tasks, Fire extinguisher mounted. Safety 3rd
Finally - just want to send out a thanks to all that have participated in the thread, watched my videos, offered suggestions, critiques... some have gone so far as to send me parts I was'n't going to be able to afford this season or let me in their shop off hours and done machine work for me. Answering my texts, phone calls or posts when I was stuck on something... I had a plan of what I wanted to accomplish this winter and some circumstances in my situation really made it seem like it was unlikely I was going to be able to bring that plan into reality - but because of some of the people who you've seen post in this thread, each step in the plan was taken. Now that the suspension setup is done, thats kind of like my moment where, its ready - and a good time to reflect on the past 4 or so months.
This place has so much to offer with the caliber of some of its members, really happy to be a small part of this great group.

There is a tab on the inside of the case that needed to be milled down and the stub axles were shortened by 2MM to match G50 dimension. Theres a fair amount of variation on the Getrag boxes, so you kind of have to start down the road and be ready to make it work. Some won't have the tab for instance.
I'd be happy to pass along the info if you'd like of the guy I had do the install, just let me know.
