And ready for an oil change with new SS LN magnetic sump plug and copper washer. I'm excited!
You're ahead of me by a few miles (138) . Just did the same oil change as well. Changed my filter to the LN spin-on type and use the Corvette filter now. Seems ok.
The car came with standard then I found a set of sport seats in exact color of space grey in Cali
but with the original aero kit I couldn’t resist with these seats from making it look like a GT3

Your interior and car look great Mike. Not to mention the visceral driving experienced is so much better with the GT3 seats. Would love to here your comparisons of your 996, 997T and Boxster one of these days from a driving experience point of view.
To be honest I prefer the my 996 it’s just so engaging I can’t believe what a real 996 GT3 drives like
the 997.2 TTS is a fing rocket wrapped in leather but not as visceral but coddled high power more then anyone needs
the Boxster is so underrated in driving feel yes it’s under powered but great starter Porsche that let’s you emphasize momentum racing

I have always liked the Boxster and Cayman. You can really throw them around. The 997.2 turbo is an very nice car as well. Always comes down to what "feel" you want. You have a pretty nice arsenal of cars depending on what you are looking to drive every day. Nice!

its pretty raw. The power band is so high strung and they didnt seam to care about nvh levels. Also the power levels r matched very well with the ability to control the car with only abs and no tc. The last of the true sports cars.
Painted my DES electric power steering bracket with black Steelit. Love that stuff. Also installed the amplifier bracket I made to mount the Infinity Kappa amp behind the spare tire and hides the wiring. I'm pretty happy with the result. Just need to button it up, I was too excited not to share.
Prepped for a street concours event for the PCA TN region at the VW plant in Chattanooga. My C4S won’t win, it needs paint correction and a dent removed but cleaning a car at this level does add things to the todo list.
Replaced all four corners with Sebro slotted. Put dampers on titanium shims for the PFC 8 pads. Replaced brake fluid from ATE to Motul 600. My front wheel liners are pretty ratty, so I cut and riveted flow-thru 3” x 4” screen directly behind fans. I’ll see if it works by taping off one side and measuring temps. Riveted the wheel deflectors and dive planes.
Brake lines came in and one was “bent” where it should be straight. Re-ordered replacement and will start breakdown…discovered the course these lines run and shields that will need removal. Let’s go…. Shield New lines have connectors…yay, just hope they match up Wet☹️ Too much straightening to do…could damage the line so will get another one
My least favorite job, body work. Trying to clean up the exhaust cut outs on my geto rear bumper and my first attempt repairing a fiberglass part. I broke the front canard loading the car into the truck.
