You're gonna love that Function First kit. Topnotch piece of work.
I agree on the usefulness of this forum. Heck, even the 986/987/997 folks hang out here. We rock!

I installed a short shift kit and wired in the illuminated ICT shift ****.
There’s an ice storm in Oregon so I can’t drive it but shifting feels so much better than the OEM plastic shifter. Excited to drive it when the weather breaks!
Getting more proficient at pulling the center console out
Shoe shifter
All installed with ICT illuminated
Is your light white? I put one of these in a customer's car (along with Numeric cables and shifter) and his light was red:
I had the stock bores plated since there was very minimal scratching. Piston skirts were coated as well. This was a more cost effective solution for my purposes.

Yes I did white light. The red is a bit too much for me. The white is very subdued - I absolutely love it and the feel of the shifter.
I wonder how off our scans are from each other haha. Sorry again that I'm not allowed to share mine, but yours is way more detailed!
I was wondering that too! I set my accuracy at 0.5 mm but it goes down to 0.1 mm. The file at 0.5 was almost 1 GB for the STL export before simplification, so what you see here is a ~70 MB simplified version.
Speaking of sharing, I'm considering selling the scans for hobbyists at a reasonable rate, ping me if anyone is in need and has requests. If not allowed, I'll remove!
