Too tired to post last week after finishing so I am posting today. Pulled off the front bumper and removed 5 years of garbage from the radiators, repositioned the nonworking XM radio antenna on the inner metal bumper. Then washed and ceramic coated the body and wheels. Not sure why people pay $$$$ for ceramic coating as it only cost $39 at NAPA. Mine is the red one.

Default 2000mi road trip

Just got home to San Diego after completing the Everyday Driver Utah Adventure.
Odometer rolled past 144K during the drive, almost to 145,000mi now. Car behaved flawlessly.
The event was amazing, great roads, breathtaking scenery, extended periods of high speed driving.

I replaced my driver side window regulator.
Found out someone else had been in the door before...unless back in 2001 the Porsche factory used silver duct tape on the foam insulation.
Took the time while the battery was unhooked to run two wires from my cutoff switch to the firewall.
Even with the air-conditioning running my garage was 93F so I decided I'd leave some butt splices and finish running it to the fuse/power for the ECU/FI/Fuel pump for some cooler day.

How difficult was the window regulator R&R? My passenger window interferes with the door opening when all the way up. Door card is still off as piece the interior back together. Trying to decide if I get by with an adjustment or go ahead and replace the regulator.

Busy 2 evenings. Its time for maintenance with 9 track days down and 3 days at pittrace coming up it was time for trans and engine oil change along with purging a few onces out of each caliper.

Also got a set of new shoes (nt-01s) as the current ones probably only have a day left.

Default Roof Transport System Locking Cylinders Available

Well, today I installed new locking cylinders on my Roof Transport System for my 03 C4S. Now I have three of these (part number is 996 801 209 00) available to anyone who may want them (just pay for some shipping to wherever you are).

Couple weeks ago I was on I-83 on the way to a race with my bike. Didn't have one of these guys locked, so it flew off the roof rack at highway speed. I did stop to look for it, but it was gone in the Maryland highway grass. So I have now replaced all four (thanks Suncoast), and have these three available to anyone that would need them. Maybe you lost one as well and don't want to buy the whole set. Send me a PM if you are interested or these would be helpful to you.
