While I was in there, I replaced the engine compartment light bulb with an LED and put a dab of grease on the latch.
I've noticed more and more people using compact electric ratchets and I think I'll have to get one now. How durable has your Milwaukee been? I'm a Makita person but not especially averse to trying new tools.

When I was at the body shop this my daily driver for 2 years ( I left after that). At the end of those 2 year it was still going pretty strong although it probably could have used a good disassembly and regrease. It was great and took a beating, and this was in a body shop so add in lots of dust, debris and long hours of operation in warm and hot weather.

Not exactly today, but bought it. It’s a 2001 Carrera 4. Have since hardwired an Escort radar detector, changed the oil, filters and hood struts, and scheduled an appointment for IMS and AOS
Clutch was replaced by Porsche dealer at 57k a few years back, currently at 69k. Still deciding what to do about the wheels as I’m not 100% sold on them.

Congrats on the car. It looks great. Wheels look very good on the car why change? Also, best damn color ever! Welcome to the club! Sounds like you are doing the right things with ims and aos. Go with uaos track version regardless of if you will track the car or not. Also water pump...
While you are in there, drop sump, see what you got floating around in there, maybe scope bore to be sure. If all good, spend like he'll on the car and change your oil 2x a year and enjoy the he'll out of it.

I've had the 3/8 ratchet the longest and it's been great with really good battery life. I used to be a skeptic but there's no going back to air for me.

You need to get the stubby 3/8 impact... my 1/2 DeWalt barely ever comes out anymore...

get on slick deals and buy all the milwaukee, I've transitioned everything but my lawnmower at this point (which is still electric)

Perfect and I think I'll get the 1/4 and 3/8 ratchet and their compact impact for now.
I’m a long time airtool guy.
But I recently decided to switch from Craftsman battery drills, 1/4 impact, circular saw, reciprocating saw to Milwaukee M18.
(I‘ll give the old Craftsman tools to my son)
I was so impressed that I decided to get a 3/8 M12 ratchet.
It is much easier to use than my Snap-on air ratchet with the swivel.
I‘ll likely pick up an M18 1/2 impact next.
That will still be useful more than 75’ from my garage.
What’s surprising is how many different M18 & M12 tools Milwaukee makes!
