Due to the fact mine is buried (car covered of course) in snow until at least the end of March, I've been purchasing and preparing for hibernation exit. I bought two new motor mounts and an LN spin on oil filter adapter. I also bought a 7 inch portable Apple Carplay screen. Wireless as well. Having 5 cars, I'll be able to easily take it with me in whatever car I'm choosing to drive that day (which will mostly be the 996 when weathe allows). It can be mounted like how the old GPS units used to be and is also a Bluetooth transmitter. Easy to use, it's a great unit and perfect solution if you don't want to replace the factory radio.

I'm also going to start deep cleaning the already very nice hollow spoke Turbo wheels I picked up in the fall. They are satin black in the center with silver lip..will likely ceramic coat them as well.

I really can't wait for spring!

No problem. I'll look up Tech Art.

Tonight I installed my Soul Sport Cats that I received a couple of weeks ago.

They’re MUCH lighter than the factory cats.
They’re almost as light as my old Fabspeed cat-less x-pipe.
The build quality of the soul exhaust is exceptional.
I saw a set of Soul headers and sports cats last week and the headers are nice as well.

I also I stalled some new hood shocks tonight.

Super jealous. I wish they had a CARB version. They would already be on my car. I have a set of Magnaflows to put on this weekend.

Do you get a CEL from that cats or is there a spacer? That bung looks pretty thick.

That's a standard size bung, no CELs to be expected!

Fun story - went for a drive with the local P-club Saturday and brought along some cupcakes to give out at the start of the drive.
Not too many folks ate them, so I put them back in the frunk.
Forgot all about them, drove over 250 miles at some xxx speeds and through some twisty-twisty roads all day.
When I got home I figured the frunk would have melted icing all over...HA! They were still in perfect shape!

Photo to prove it...

The bung looks normal to me.
No CELs experienced when I took it for a drive to my mother-in-laws house today.
The sound...every bit as good as my previous Fabspeed x-pipe.
I'm SO happy to have great sound again!

Default We tried to install soul headers.

We tried to install the soul headers. On one side passenger side no
issues. Driver side
one bolt broke, another one was missing, a third was ok, don’t know the situation of the other 3. We decided to bolt it back
up and leave to my mechanic.

The one that broke like half of it. The missing one is still in there.

Wonder how much power I’m going to get out of these?? Anyway soul headers are real pretty, these ones have less than 1,000 miles on them. Friend has a set of sport cat soul pipes
same 1,000 miles, pretty golds color available for sale.

My IMS solution showed up today…this is my first time seeing this kit in person and I’ll say, I’m impressed with the quality. Appointment is on Valentines Day of all days to be installed. Excited.

Here's an update on my GT3 trunk foam update.
I saw that SunCoast had the factory tire sealant and a Porsche first aid kit.
Unfortunately the dimensions on the first aid kit were larger than the space in the foam, but I figured I could trim the foam slightly and make it fit, so I ordered it.
When it came in I waited until I had time to do the trimming, and what do you know, it fits without any trimming!
Here's my updated picture:
