Got locked out of my frunk with a flat battery in a tight space, so I bought one of these to sit behind my seat............

Got a quick bath and paint sealant. It's so soft and shiny now!

JBSL the 4S looks great, been trying to get the stripe guy to answer my e mail about the stripe, not luck yet, got the same black wheels for my C2 but I am going to run 295/30/19 11in x 65 offset wheels in the rear with 235/40/18 8.5in x 43 offsetwheels in front, and install a Feal coil over set up, also going to dye the convertible top from light grey to black, finally got the dye from the UK, will post up pic's when done.

Let the listing for my 2000 C4 Cab expire. Got a few nibbles but nothing came of them.

Rather keep the car than sell it for less than what I think it's worth. Besides, now's not the best time of year to try to sell a convertible.

So, will wait until the spring to relist it.

Maxflows paired with 200cell cats can be a little rowdy. I think with the Fisters it’ll tone it down around town.

^^^ Yeah, it's clearly subjective but I think the consensus is that Maxflo's "aren't too loud"... I suppose the 200 cell cats do add to the overall loudness, and lets face it - all that matters is what your wife thinks !

Sitting pretty! Two things: what suspension are you running? I like the exhaust tips and have been wanting to do something with the chrome ones on my car...did you powder coat black?

I have Maxflos, and I wish they were a little louder.
My wife says they're not too loud.
But she doesn't ride with me on long rides.
Getting in and out of the 996 is tough on her knees, plus my suspension is set a bit too stiff for her.
I could adjust the suspension, but she rarely rides with me(maybe once every year) so I don't think about it until we're on our way somewhere.
Most of the time when we go somewhere together we're in her Honda Odyssey.
It is MUCH more comfortable for her so I leave the 996 at home.

Where did you find that?
I have a large jumpstarter that I carry in my frunk along with a large set of tools and jumper cables, and a spare tire, and an air compressor, and...
I wouldn't mind something like that in my glovebox.

Maxflows and Cats aren’t obnoxious but they’re always on. And the combo might be too loud for the track; I’ll find out Tuesday. I drive my car hard so it gets annoying at times. At least with the fisters I’m hoping to have control when they’re on.

Unpacked the spark plugs, tubes and coil packs I ordered. I can find nothing in the paperwork showing they've been replaced so I decided to them as a preventative measure while the car is in the air for its annual oil change.
As an added bonus, it's supposed to cool down over the weekend before we're back in the '90s next week.

I ordered these standoffs for the heatshields to compensate for the larger coil packs. Hopefully they get here tomorrow.

18X12 Gotta be a 40 something, not sure yet... with 305x35

As expected, rears will have to be re-barreled... Not sure if I'm going to be able to make an 18X12 setup work or if I'll have to go to an 18x11.

So, teaser for all - I need to get them cleaned up, they're filthy and get the barrels and lips on order... so it will be a bit until I get them on for good.
