I didn't do it today, but last weekend I fixed my non-operational reverse lights. In case anyone has similar issues, neither of my reverse lights came on. In addition, the mirror stopped moving down when I put it into reverse. The fix was replacement of a switch mounted on the top of the transmission on the passenger side. The part is generic, here's the one I used:
Amazon Amazon

I think I looked up a DIY, but the procedure is: 1) get the car in the air 2) Locate the switch on the passenger side of the transmission, above the linkages 3) Pry the clip up and unplug from the switch 4) Unscrew the switch with a 19MM open wrench (removing the forward belly pan may make this easier, but I didn't do it. 5) Install is reverse.

Simple fix! But, its the little things.

Probably close to totalling it, with all the damage to the roof, sides, doors, etc.Body shop (reputable one) says a complete paint job.

Thanks! It’s the RS Steering wheel at Carnewal for 993 and 996. I have gray interior so I also bought a black steering column cover to blend in better.

Looks really nice but aren't you a "little" concerned about no airbag? Anyone know the legalities of doing this?

Fixed my chattering windshield wipers by removing the caps and tightening down on the nuts a smidge. Problem solved.

Fitted:
Koni sports shocks and H&R -30mm springs
Cup steering wheel

Both have made a huge difference to how the car feels to drive

On order:
H&R adjustable rear ARB (already have a M030 front bar ready to fit)
Silver bonnet badge
Rear wiper delete kit
Big oval exhaust tips
BMC air filter
2 x Alpine speaker upgrade kit for front and rear
Small stick on front plate

Also looking in to 200 cell cats options... I heard a car with them on yesterday and it sounded AMAZING!

I've also removed the Carrera badge from the engine cover... Inspired by a friends car, which looked super clean with no rear badge and the rear wiper delete.

You need to take a new Avatar picture now...of course it's gonna look a little strange.
