If this is still around after the new year let me know!
Exhaust first (December) and shifter next. Then I'll start searching for a smaller diameter steering wheel...
Exhaust and shifter are some of the best bang for the buck mods!
Im a lazy seller so the shifter may still be around.
i too installed a new continental radio. I think it looks great and sounds good too. I went a step further and nought the Porsche sticker to complete the look.
I have yet to find a shop in the KC Area that has any clue how to do this...or even what it is. Did you just show them a photo and they figured it out? I'm curious because I was planning on shipping my '99 Carrera mufflers out to FD over the winter.

I get it that people want to save money where they can. Personally, I would (and did) send them to FD Motorsports. It will cost you more, especially because of the shipping, but the quality of the welding is top notch.
Installed a GBox detent.
My car has popped out of 2nd gear a few times since I bought it in Sept 2017.
I bought the GBox detent over 6 months ago.
2nd gear popped out again yesterday, so I decided to finally install it.
Also on the list for later today is wash the car.
Tomorrow is Cars and Coffee Porsche Day.
I'm trying to decide if I want to get up and go or just sleep in.

It all depends on what you are going for. It's going in to the blown track car for my uncle. He can upgrade to a high end exhaust on down the road if he wants, but for now, it just needs some cheap growl that better fits the look of the car. This thing isn't going to win any concourse awards, but running up and down the road it will look and sound amazing! It also has a 64k mile engine that Blue Chip did a proactive top end refresh on and a set of JIC Cross coilovers. I also have a set of Koni's on the shelf in case the JIC's are too much for him but the ride seems to fit the car. Full build cost to him was $20k.
Oh ya, and I also brought home the engine for this other guy. If I had it in by the end of the weekend my wife would be soooo happy! This one will go for $17k base cost plus any customizations that someone wants. And yes, my wife is on my rear to start selling as aggressively as I was buying for awhile. Lol.
The wife and I went with a group from PCA on a great drive today. We are running out of good days in northeast Ohio and got lucky with a good one today. We spent some time on route 78 on our way to the Stockport Mill. www.stockportmill.com.
This is a pretty cool mill from 1904 that has been converted to a restaurant and hotel. The heavy timber structure sits on the Muskingum river and still has much of the old mill equipment. They currently use hydro electric generators to create their own power.
We had 15 cars for the drive down.
After a great lunch of Amish cooked comfort food, several of us went home via a portion of the Triple Nickel, State Route 555. Similar to the Tail of the Dragon and Blue Ridge Parkway, this is one of the best roads in the country. Unlike those, however, 555 has very little traffic and almost no police. The group on this section was all DE instructors, so you can image the pace was safe, but very spirited.
I hope everyone else had as good of a day as we did.

Yes, indeed, great roads in that area. 555 is great as are the connector roads into West Virginia. Shocking how the locals are accustomed to people ripping through there!
I pulled the window regulators on the rear and front drivers side on the 02 Cabriolet, the rear was a total PIA, boxed and ready to ship to PHX AR to be rebuilt.
