That looks awesome! Where did you buy it and do you have any install pics? Right now, I'm using the standard radio with a Tranzit BLU HF unit hooked up for bluetooth. The mess of wires are hidden behind the center console and I'd love to do a console delete but retain bluetooth capability and stock-ish look

I am also shopping, have been studying the Continentals. Look here:
https://www.bergvillfx.com/index.php...ead-units.html
I think these are an excellent choice, they look great, and many have been pleased with them.

The 2 things I am struggling with are:
1. it doesn't come with line level outputs (only speaker level). My 996 has the Bose system and I want to keep using the amplifier, so I may need a line-output-converter to make it work -- just worried about additional noise and signal degradation.
2. I am getting to be a fan of Pandora, or Spotify, or internet radio, and these don't have the internal functions to control those systems like other modern radios -- of course the Continental will be just fine if you select songs from your phone.

Something I did not consider - I have the bose system too..

This weekend I installed a front camera to help avoid hitting Concrete parking stops with my new GT3 bumper (I scraped it first trip out) I also installed DRL's and had to wire them direct to a switched fuse as two separate controllers made them flash (I have no idea why) Big shout out to the person who told me the pass through grommet was behind the battery, I never would have found it. I also installed a load resistor on the new LED 3rd brake light in the duck tail which was causing warning light issues, and last but not least I installed wheel spacers, 7 mm in front and 15 mm in back. So all in all a pretty busy weekend.

My wife thought the car deserved an"S" designation with the Flat6Innovations engine.
After 5 years of me begging for these types of badges to be made, (he hates marketing) Mr. Raby has finally given me the green light to make a new series of body badges for the original owners of our engines. These will be high quality, with a “bubble top” laminate.

^^I like it!
Me and mine, not a damn thing,,, it's our busy season (been working my butt off) and it's been to hot and humid. If I can't start working on the project at 6-7 am it's too late!

Morning update, this thread motivated me to get up and down the hill...Labeled and pulled my wiring harness, starter, fuel rails and sent the injectors out for cleaning.

Has anyone tried this impact wrench? I've bent the handle on my 3/4" driver trying to get the nut off the rear wheel of the flippin TT.

i doubt anything from hf will hit hard enough. With a 3/4 gun u need a 1/2" hose and a lot of air. U would look at the ingersol rand titatium guns in 1/2". I can put differential crush sleaves down with mine. I use a sumilar 3/4" ir gun to pull my toterhome lugs.

Have you tried a 4-6' pipe with a big breaker bar?

That's what finally got it. My old 3/4" breaker bar bent trying to get it off. I tried the HF 1100ft/lbs impact gun and no luck. Took it back and got their 20" - 3/4" breaker and 4' piece of 1" gas pipe for a cheater. Popped like ball joint when it finally cracked loose.

They also make torque multipliers we use this for our toter lugs that wont break free. Im not sure it will work on a cl wheel but might be worth a try.
