Steve, that was my latest "mod". It is actually a keyhead and the sticker is inset into the key.

PM me your address (again) and I will see about getting one on its way. Or maybe I will make you come get it the next time I am in SFO. I am there monthly of late - financial district.

Patrick, interior pics to come... It's been raining a lot in Vancouver...grrr.

Greg, you should consider coming up for a drive up the Sea-to-Sky highway up to Whistler this spring/summer... BC spent over a billion dollars on the road to prep it for the 2010 winter olympics...makes for a nice drive...just have to keep an eye out for the Mounties

Cheers guys

I just got a "RUF" t-shirt from eBay: Search for "Ruf Tuning T-Shirts". I ordered a black with Red logos. I ordered a large (wish I ordered a medium). He wants $19.99 but I made an offer of $17.50, and it was accepted, so don't pay anymore than that. The shirt came in a big hurry, and the logo quality is just fair. I will wash and dry it, and see if it shrinks a bit.

Hello Ruf owners,
I don't know if my 993 TT (a 98' factory 450 hp with K24, double pipes, etc.) has its place on this post.

It has been converted at Pfaffenhausen Ruf office with Turbo R engine, Turbo R chassis, Ruf airbag steering wheel, a pair of black leather Recaro (pole Position), Ruf alloy pedals, Ruf floor mats, Ruf door sills, 993 RS gear stick, etc.

It does not have a Ruf VIN number but has everything registered on the registration card.
The output was more than 522 hp (claimed 490 hp).

But this was not enough for the owner and he went to Sportec in Switzerland and had a huge engine modification to produce 628.9 hp and 852 N.m of Torque.
The engine has many modifications: 30 % larger diameter injection pipe, high pressure pumps, GT2 Evo extreme camshafts and K26 Turbos.

In term or look, the car really ride high (almost the original height) and does not look savage at all: looks like a factory car.

Here are a few pictures:

Hehe, you've got the eye.

That's a 1996 911 GT (also known as 993 GT2, but GT2 was the race version) with the Clubsport package (only 7 produced world wide).
So it has of course the full welded rollcage and no carpet.

I also have the race endurance 380 mm brakes.

The engine has been prepared by Roock Racing (540 hp), has the 4th, 5th and 6th ratios shorter, has BBS racing wheels (firred with Pirelli PZero Corsa 265/35/18 front and 315/30/18 rear) and weight 1170 kg only (carbon fiber front fenders, doors and hood).

I think the shorter ratio really make it crazy: the rear PZero Corsa still look for grip a little bit on dry tarmac when there is a little bit of resistance (like climbing highway).

Here are some pictures to start with:

A friend made an album on webshot with my cars (pictures are from me but he reworked colors):
http://rides.webshots.com/album/5795...JWRst?start=12

Last picture is a mistake: a friend's GT3 (he does not know Porsche so he did not find it strange to put it there in a middle of 993 pictures)

Do not hesitate to leave him comments (even mentioning Denis would drive him crazy).

Denis

Hi Denis

I have a penchant for properly modified 993tts and yours certainly qualifies

I follow the tuners very closely and one observation is that Sportec Bosch FLA Chassis dyno always reads too high for the torque reading, your 850NM measurement is likely to be more like high 700s in Porsche equivalent DIN static loading method.
I don't know if you had ever measured the car's performance with a GPS device like Performance Box but if you could measure the acceleration from 100 to 300kph we can easily ascertain real hp, 630PS/800NM on normal weight 1500kg 993tt should measure around 22 seconds.

Lastly can I ask about the turbos, you say they are K26, I presume you mean K24/26 ie a K24 chassis with larger K26 compressor wheel ? Or do you mean real old skool K26 with external wastegate like on the old Ruf CTRs ?
