Hi, I'm brand new here. Not sure if I'm in the appropriate forum, but I've been wanting a RUF Porsche for years and just saw a BTR for sale on eBay near me. I'm unsure as to how to verify the sellers claims of it being converted in Germany straight from the factory. Could anyone point me in the right direction? (link below)

noparking,

Please start a new thread on this forum with a subject line like "help with a 1989 Ruf BTR in NY" or something like that. You will get lots of help.

Viggo,

That Ruf keyhead was a gift from Texas993 (Patrick) who had an extra. I have no idea where there may be more of them.

At this moment I am working on a RUF database we are collecting vin numbers of original build RUFs and also vin numbers of conversions although we keep separated lists.

If you want your car included in the database you can send an email by going to www.rufdatabase.com or just send me a PM.

Can you make out the sticker on the window of the Scion? My sister had that made for me as a Bday gift.
