Bought a 1997 Ruf Turbo R about a month ago. From what I gather, Weissach in Vancouver flew techs from Ruf into town in 1997 and built (converted) 3 993TT's to Turbo R specs....

Congrats Doug! The Turbo R is a fantastic car! I have had mine for 3 years - the longest that I have ever owned a car.

3 years...wow! You must love it if you like to change up the rides that often!

The weather hasn't been cooperative in Vancouver for any decent photos of the car...not when I've been out of the office anyhow.
I love the way the car drives, sounds, etc.... can't wait to blast up to Whistler on the Sea to Sky highway this summer...pics and details coming
