Smile Got a Ruf? Register here

I thought I'd try to compile a list of the various Ruf Rennlisters, with their screen names, model car, and location:

ca993twin: 1996 Ruf Turbo R conversion: So Cal, USA

Please copy the info above, and add your info to the list in your post.

Thanks

Does wishful thinking count?

If so, put me down for a CTR-2 and an RT12...

This is kinda what I'm thinking for a list:

ca993twin: 1996 Ruf Turbo R conversion: So Cal, USA

CP: 1995 Ruf BTR-2 conversion done in Phaffenhausen, Germany. N. Cal, USA

Olli: 1989 Ruf BTR Conversion: North Carolina, USA

leonsamonas: 1997 Ruf Turbo R: London, UK

Leon... does your turbo R have a Ruf Vin? I'd like to add that data as well, if you don't mind. Hot damn, the decsription of your car is awesome. How much does it weigh?

Thnaks, and lets keep the data coming. We'll have two newcomers to report soon also... one is on the road as I type... picking up his new turbo R. This should be fun.

Did any of you guys register your cars with RUF? As I remember Ruf had told me to register the car I was looking at purchasing with them once I took ownership, and this was even for a non RUF VIN car.
Either way great list of RUF owners!

harrY,

My PO told me to register mine (taking his place) with RUF. So I did it in December 2003.

Thanks for the info. though. Others may not know it.

There are (3) RUF serial #s cars in my town
(Mpls, Mn)

SB, Yellow CTR2 Sport (widebody) 1997, Mpls,MN.
JR, Silver CTR2 Sport (widebody) 1997, Mpls, MN.
??, Yellow CTR2 Sport (widebody) 1997, Mpls, MN.

I have ridden in two of the above three cars.
All are RUF originals from Pfaffenhausen.
The gentleman that services my car also services these cars.
None of the gentleman are on Rennlist.
One of the guys is the WORLD'S authority on RUF cars and has driven
his car at events all over the world; He has driven around Daytona at 180 MPH,
raced (and beat) Viper race cars at Road America, done Brock's Cannonball, etc. etc.
His car is light and VERY fast.
