Advice sought
Folks-
I have owned an immaculate 2002 Ruf RTurbo for 2 months now.
I have owned many 911 Turbos and GT3s, including 2 recent GT3RS's.
My problem (you are going to think I am insane), but I feel the car is too perfect to track, and is actually not set up that way - more for high speed autobahn cruising. The quality of the car is great.
However, I am getting back into club racing and such, and also want the obtanium 'dual purpose' car. I could trade this in on a very low mileage 996 GT2 and recover some money, or trade for a lighter, much more poweful EVOMsit-modified GT2 for track and street driving.
Any advice is appreciated. I just hate to hurt this car by tracking it, and it does not make sense to alter the beautifully tuned turbo-exhuast system on these cars through upgrades.
Any and all advice greatly appreciated - I need to make a decision soon.
Thanks in Advance - Gerry

David, that is awesome. I have seen that car many times. Wayne really took great care of it and set it up incredibly well. In fact, I will miss seeing it.
