Thanks guys! Yes it was Marvin's car. I never met him, as I bought it through Ruf. I did trade my Rturbo in and it does sound incredible! Couldn't be happier.

Funny thing is that some time ago Wayne and Jonathan invited me up to the event in Dallas and I couldn't make it. Probably would have met most of you guys.

It is flat paint, like the protototype, only a lttle bit darker, or?

Just bought a Ruf R Kompressor 08-16-08 in the Dallas, TX, area. 2006 997 C4S cabriolet, black with full black leather interior. Adaptive sport seats, Sports Chrono Plus, Bose w/CD changer, Navigation. It was converted at the Ruf facility here when new (which I also visited for background on the conversion and a tour - Porschetopia!). Stock exterior except for the Ruf badge on engine decklid. Stock suspension. Carrera classic wheels. Brake/clutch/gas Ruf pedals inside.
