I attempted a few maintenance items this week and had some success. However, I’ll have to finish up the rest at another time.
Successful items
- Replaced AC Condenser Sensor: Low-speed fan wasn’t working. Installed in the original location, and all is well.
- Oil Cooler Mod: This is not my DD, and one day the oil temperature got higher than expected while I was in traffic on a hot day. I picked up this mod from @Kappi2907; so far, so good.
- Replaced Air Temperature Sensor (in blower duct): The fan in my engine compartment stopped running after my drives. This sensor was returning an error, so I replaced it. However, the fan in the engine compartment still hasn’t turned after my test drives. I’ll have to figure out what’s going on there.
- Installed the T-Spoiler: This was straightforward, and I like the one button up/down function and changing the speed the tail rises.
- ONR wash: I’ve had success with this product. I’m sure keeping the car in the garage helps too.
Unsuccessful items
- Decklid struts: After attempting to replace the passenger side, I couldn’t get the retaining pin out. I decided to leave the original one and pick up a mechanical strut from Rennline so I won’t have to bother with this again.
- Rear spoiler bearing: My spoiler makes a crunching sound when activated. I need some glue to complete this task, so I will re-try after I have the adhesive. I programmed my spoiler to start at 75mph. That should reduce the wear to whatever is making the crunching sound.
Thanks again to everyone that contributes to this community. I enjoy working on the car whenever I have a chance.

I find the engine needs to be really cooking for that fan to come on. Mine only comes on if the temp gauge is past the 9 o-clock position a little bit. I always run my engine at idle for about 30-45 seconds before shutting it off and then I immediately open the engine lid and leave the garage open for about half an hour. My fan only kicks on about 50% of the time I'd say, it's got to be REALLY heat-soaked past the point of the oil thermostat opening fully to need it.

That would make sense because my temperature rarely gets over "9 o'clock" now after installing the Oil Cooler Mod. I'll need to research how to manually start the engine compartment blower to confirm it's working. As of right now, I'm not seeing any errors/fault codes after this week's maintenance activities.
Cheers,

Drove it with my 14yr old son! We used to drive it daily when I had to take him to football practices last year. Now we enjoy those good memories every time we take the car out! Priceless. 149k miles and closing on 150k!!
