What did you do with your 993 today
#3661
Yup- I have the hollow spoke versions. I also have chrome 993 WB hollow spokes- one is bent, so I have the 996 hollows on the car and will be refurbing the 993's this winter. I want to straighten, strip and refinish - no chrome- it's an expensive process, but these wheels are worth a small fortune now.

I got new floor mats for my new to me cab since the drivers side mats kept creeping up and getting in the way of my feet when driving.
Looks great, perfect match and much better for morale

Christmas early today. OEM RS rear swaybar going on today. If you're looking for these sway bars, Sonnen had the best price. 389. Rennline sells the exact same OEM bar for 625. Highway robbery.
New oatmeal square weave full carpet kit from Lakewell in Belgium finally arrived. Took 2 months to ship here. That'll be the winter project. Full interior rebuild. Should be getting the leather bits from Classic 9 here soon. Eventually all the classic grey will be gone and it'll be tan/cork interior. Making my arena red more peanut butter and jelly....

I'm already running RS door panels. Mine is a 96. Trying to decide if I leave them black or do them in cork basketweave from spinneybeck. I'll have to look at it when I get the carpet done. Maybe I'll put together a thread on the build and ask the Rennlist collective...

Driving to a friend’s house last night, felt an odd bump/heard a low pop sound from the right rear. Felt more than heard. Thought I just hit a lane reflector or something. Going maybe 30 mph accelerating in a right turn. Didn’t think much of it until approx 5 miles later, when rear start to push side to side and hear the dreaded womp womp womp of the flat. Guess I’m surprised it made it that far. 2018 production date, Kumho Ecsta PA1, installed by previous owner. Looking at Continentals to replace, guess I might as well do both rears at the same time.

Yesterday, a guy in a black Acura small SUV ran into me at a stoplight in the rear and pushed me about a car length forward…my car was in neutral at stop…..as I always shift it there at stop with light brake to hold…thankfully…
Could not believe those little black bumpers took the hit perfectly square - no marks or damage externally or internally - to engine or suspension….lucky it was that particular Acura car…his bumper slightly crushed in 2 places from my bumperettes….
It was a good day yesterday for me…

i had a similar incident could not find any puncture in tread lost air so rapidly this was the result luckily rim did not touch ground
i am not a big Conti fan but do yourself a favor and replace all 4 with matching rubber
