I installed Tore's HID kit and high beam kit. His instructions were spot on. My '95 light assembly lid did not have holes for the ballast screws so I ordered updated lids from Pelican. The install was a breeze and everything looks great. The LED daytime running lights are also a great touch. Next up on my to-do list is fixing the dreaded phantom horn issue. I noticed it yesterday when I had to brake hard. Some of the stories on here about this issue are hilarious. I ordered some o-rings and hope that takes care of it.

I replaced the torn air duct for the engine fan and tried out the proper sunshade from suncoast but in the process, I saw the crack in my alternator fan blade. A new one has been ordered from Sunset but i'm not sure if I should epoxy the crack in the mean time.

Yikes. That engine fan is an accident waiting to happen. It looks like someone replaced the bearing, and used a bar to hold the fan steady. You can see where the blade has been nicked, and the base has been compromised. I’m fairly sure it will hold out until the new fan arrives, but take it easy on the RPM’s until the replacement arrives.

Personally, I wouldn't use it until you have installed the new one.. Makes no sense in chancing it..

I sourced the pieces needed to make the handbrake light work. Einmalig and Delaware Porsche had the pieces. The spring was broken off so i sawed off the rivets and decided to jb weld the new one on.

I didn’t think of that at the time. I am sure it will break in another 100k miles and I can redeem myself

Nice one. I need to do the same on my Tequipement hand brake lever. Is that difficult to rivet it again?

The rivets go from the bottom up so not sure how to get a rivet tool in there. Gbos made a good comment of just using a screw/nut with some thread locker.

Makes sense. I was wondering how to avoid to drill.
