What did you do with your 993 today

Criminy that looks fabulous! Did you have any cracks in the leather prior, or was it merely looking old? My cashmere seats --especially the drivers now that I'm at 191k miles-- are looking really bad and am motivated to do this, but I'm afraid mine is too worn for a mere re-dye. Got a "before" pic at all?

I switched out the shifter assembly with a full Numeric shifter setup. It's good. I was hoping for a better feel, but it's still better than before.
I also switched out the starter for the 996 starter because mine was failing during hot starts. The starter bolts were a bear to get off, but the 996 starter's smaller footprint makes it much easier to install.

Got a lot done this morning!
- Rothsport steering rack bushings… this made a bigger difference than I was expecting given what I’ve read on the forums. Old bushings were like marshmallows
- Fister Stage II mufflers. As good as everyone says they are.
- 20mm rear sway bar, bushings, and drop links. Wow what a difference from the 17mm stock bar. I’m actually kind of in awe… also my drop links were shot and knocking so it’s nice to have that done!

Upgraded all the exterior lights (markers, turns, brakes) with Tore’s LED kit. Big improvement and really nice stuff (as per usual when you buy from him). I went with the amber rear turn signals. The yellow LEDs don’t shine thru quite as ‘amber’ as I was expecting but that’s pretty minor. They actually look more amber in the pic below than they do to my eye when viewing in person

Also finished up installing the morimoto retrofit projectors. Used their high beam ‘splitter’ which allows for both their high beam and the stock one to run at the same time. The stock halogen was pretty pathetic so put Tore’s LED high beam in and the total output now is pretty nuts!
