Type 911 UK appears to carry just the Hella "brake duct light" with 16 LED bulbs for 22 GBP each

To run your fog lights as DRLs, you can easily use a fused jumper on the relay. It is reversible as well. That is what I did. Check out page two of this thread for details: https://rennlist.com/forums/993-foru...s-done-it.html

Thx for the link. How did I miss that. I assume that this will only turn the fog lights on, no other lights?

Got this done, Thx. Much better than before but just curious, is it possible to control the fog light **** independently from the head lights? in a way, able to turn the fog lights off from this mod.

Thx

Jim-- IIRC Knight & 996 (Ray) had this slick mod at 993Fest & urged me to do the same.

Before starting my slide down the slippery slope:
LUV to see to see a shot of your or hn (Hoan)'s fused relay; looks like Olivier's photo is fuse-less:

I used the inline fuse holder made for auto and inserted an auto 30A (relay's rated for 40A) fuse in there. Plugged it straight into the slots. Thx Busta Rib for the idea. I'll take a photo tonight.

Yep, I went to Radio Shack and bought something pretty much like what hn used. Really easy to cobble together.

The Hella lights are an incredibly tight fit!! Holy cow this is going to be fun.

My hellas came with a rubber band in each package which you have no mention of. It's not supposed to be a gasket or O-ring or something is it?

Great write-up.

Thanks

G
