Great step by step, thanks. I had my paint shop paint and install my Tore LED scoops while it was in getting the front painted, however, they gave up as my harness has daytime running lights and fogs and well, they gave up. Also said they had trouble getting lights to fit correctly, but anyways, I'll just have to figure it out. Question though, I'm going to hook up the fogs to be my daytime running lights, anyone do this already or have an opinion?
Nice paint work on the scoops. It does look like your lights need to be situated correctly. Try the method I outlined above. It takes a little fiddling, but if you're still having issues just PM me. The Helas are running lights meant to replace your existing running lights. You typically wire them to the old driving light harness after pulling off the old bulb. The two male ends of the Hela harness fit right in to the two slots.
I'm not sure about wiring the Helas to the fog light harness. It seems doable and will allow you to engage them manually, but you'll lose the running lights whenever you put on the brights.
Good luck with it!

Excellent! Can the LEDs' lumens (brightness) be compared to 35W or 55W HIDs?

Nice work!
I bought my OE turbo inlet scoops approx. 2 years ago from the local dealer. The Hella lights came with them and were already snapped into place. I had them painted and swapped out the bulbs with LED's. Are your scoops OEM? Did you have to buy the Hella Lights separately?
Thanks,
Tony

Check out my second post on this thread with all the details - I meant to include them with my original post. The scoops are aftermarket from 911ShopUK for just $112 - or you can pay $160 and they come as a package with the Hella lights. Less than half the cost of the OEM, and the 16 LED bulbs are even brighter!
Cheers!

Is there a way to turn this light on without having to turn on either the headlights or the side marker lights? I wired these lights to the front marker light sockets and when I turn them on, the side marker also turned on.

Absolutely not - no need to cut any wires. The original 2 pound fog lights can go back in anytime you want to leap back to the dark ages. The new LED lights plug right into the existing running light harnesses, and you simply tape off the now obsolete two fog light harnesses.

I dont see why you couldnt get them to work off the fog switch if you did a little wiring mod at the relay

Instead of wiring them to the fog, I wired them to the front marker lights (same socket, just different slots) because I wanted to be able to turn them on manually without having to turn on the head lights (not turning the head light **** all the way). Doing this turns on the side marker lights too.
I am not aware of the mod at the relay. How do you this?
