These shiny wheels now await some tires... I'm out for a week at MotoGP at Laguna Seca in Monterey, next week... Anyone have any suggestions which summer tires I should order to wrap around these black beauties? I'm thinking Kumho LE Sport or Sumitomo HTRIIIs...

That rubber looks like it has a lot of fun life left.

For the price, the Sumi is the way to go, but there are far "better" tires out there at 2-3x the cost.

I was over at his place admiring his museum of amazing 993s... wow... fantastic cars!
Wow, I'm intriqued in this local collection as well. Glad the installs went smooth. The steering rack install is one of the easiest of them all. Good luck.

Installed the Solid Spoke Porsche Turbo Twist (NB) wheels {I picked up from Dallwa} with Kumho LE Sports as well as a Black Badge from IntrepidAgent... Painted the Silver Caps I got from Academictech with Gloss Black plastic paint from Krylon...

I did get this 993 emission tested, was 5-6X lower then limits, passed with flying colors... and then spent $75 on Plates and Registration... one of the many perks of NOT buying a NEW car here in Colorado... I have to think a new 991 would be well over $2K to plate it up...

Looks stunning, really like it. I say its perfect but I am super curious to see some painted calipers, like bright yellow. I like to play like that, which is also my problem (never satisfied).

Cars and Coffee tomorrow in Lafayette. Taking the 993TT with the new black twists and Fister Turbos. May see you there?

I think I will try to make it out there in the morning to show her off...

I agree, Yellow calipers are what I was thinking too... will be a good winter project when I replace the worn out shocks...

I've never painted calipers, but have done loads of brakes... so should be an interesting project...

Reading through this incredible forum I am motivated to do the yellow calipers... so that will be my August project...

September will need to be shocks and springs... my right rear shock sprung a leak... so it's only a matter of time...

Alright Dallwa, I ordered up yellow caliper paint, clear coat and black decals...

My stock front license plate mount plastic mounts were broken and didn't securely hold the plate to the bumper... I got the Inventiva Concepts mount from Jef and that went on tonight with the Bumper Plugs...
