Matt here, doing some updates for my 993 this Fall and one of them is updating the lighting. It looks by your photo you might have a good aftermarket fog lamp solution for the factory Turbo S "Aerobat II" front ducts with lamps. I'm trying to find a good alternate & real HID type fog lamp solution that fits our factory duct mounts and replace the weak OEM Hella 5W market lamps Porsche provides. Also, have you found any success with LED replacements for the marker, turn signal & other lamps for exterior applications on our 993's?
I am interested in obtaining copies of the V2 map discs (west) if at all possible.
If you can point me to the files I would be most thankful. Thanks in advance. Email is d_huff2002@yahoo.com
Hi Mike -
Say, in the "Hollow spoke or not" thread on the 993 forum, you mention a book by Marc Bongers called the "Porsche Data Book". I am quite interested in what this publication contains, as I have been collecting detailed specs on Porsches for a few years now and it seems this guy may have beaten me to it. I'm curious how detailed that book gets, does it get into such esoteric stuff as hollow sway bar wall thickness, spring rates, valve sizes and the like?
Thanks,
-Rob
