Wow, , dude badass! The car is really coming together and I really dig the yellow painted calipers. Good choice, the color pops perfectly. Plus, the twists look killer matching the car, I bet it looks clean cruising!

+993 keep up the good work John

Dropped the 993 off at Eurosport Ltd in South Denver this morning for its corner balance / alignment this morning...

A few hours later they called and said my right rear lower control arm was too bent to continue on with the alignment. I approved them ordering in a new one that should arrive tomorrow. They think it was from someone in the past using that arm as a jacking point.

Very very knowledgable shop... so far impressed... of course when all their bays and shop space is nothing but aircooled 911s, they must know something about them...

too bad about the bent rear lower control arm but, hey better to replace it now before serious damage is inflicted to the suspension.
I noticed you might need a set of chris walrod front control arm bushings, honestly the poly bushings rock!! An awesome combo with PSS10s

Picked up my 993 yesterday... big fixit bill but all is well with suspension...

Here are pics of the bent arm that we can only deduce someone at some point jacked the car up by this point:

Now I know why I had such a difficult time getting the rear end level from side to side with the new coilovers, and why the sway bar was sometimes rubbing on the top of that bar...

earlier on in this thread I linked to the thread where people were cautioning others to make sure the sway bar link collar was tight... even though I heeded those warnings and went back and hammer punched them tight, Eurosport Ltd found they were already loose... Maybe I'm getting too old and pansy for suspension work anymore... who knows... I do know that this indy shop knows their Porsches... and more importantly 993s...

Yesterday at lunch I visited to see how things were going and to see the bent control arm and they went ahead and had me sit in the car during the corner balance...

Results? Yesterday was basically the first day I actually could feel how a Porsche 993 is supposed to run down the road... new tires, balanced wheels, new brakes, new suspension, aligned properly... wow wow wow... no more bumpsteer... took it into the canyons straight away to see how its supposed to handle... big smiles... so smooth...

The stance is spot on too now... they lowered it 1/2" from where I had it but where they could still properly alignment without the camber plates and other doodads you fancy racer guys install. I think its now very close to where Darin recommended I set it up but b/c of my bent up suspension arm, I couldn't quite get there...

I would not hesitate to recommend Eurosport Ltd at 1855 W Union, Sheridan, CO 303-789-2545 And will return there for a clutch and 90k service next year...

I'll take some pics this weekend... Car is about where I want it, where I envisioned it needed to be, visually and performance...

And then I think of those high flow 200cel cats FD has in production...

It never ends... and maybe that's okay...

RocketJohn,
Just discovered your thread, great car and mods! I'm also a new(ish) 95 C2 owner, got it in late April. I have some Fisters with black tips being delivered right now as well, can't wait. Also picked up the T-Lock, put in a new Alpine, clear corners, etc. After the Fisters, I'm going to do suspension.

How do those Polk rear 4x6s sound?

the Polks in the rear provide fill sound... I have the fader front biased... they do a great job of adding volume... inexpensive and well made... fit perfectly...

Oh wow! Great stuff John. I am considering going to the Bilstein PSS10 with Fister III as my first mod. Also on the shortlist is a Parrot Asteroid. Thank you so much for all the info and the pics that were included.
