Yeah, right, it has been suggested before! Unfortunately it is just not possible to work at this speed for 52 weeks of the year, so I'm sure our viewing figures would suffer during those quiet periods before the storm.
Let's just stick with blogging on Rennlist for now, OK?

Since there will be no updates next week unless Graham calls in, I thought I best give you a bumper edition today.
In the booth, a fillet of sealer has been applied to the wing (sorry, fender) in the corner to the inner wing and also in the gaps between the rear quarter panels and rear deck.

Where you've applied the sealer and run the weatherstrip down the wing, do those surfaces ever get painted or do they remain in primer, and why?
Do you ever sleep?
Can I have those 'junker' wheels scattered around the paint booth??

I have been known to occasionally, but what with the Winter Olympics, a week off next week and a shop full of projects it does seem like it's been a while since I slept a full 8 hours.
No.

The black line there is pu adhesive sealant, as with the rear it gets fully painted over the top with base & laquer, same as the factory do.

metalic flake
I usually paint the doors with the body so the metalic flake matches identical to the fender and quarter. Some of those metalics, course med. or heavy can lay differently. Then when the sun hits the car at an angle you don't see the metalic flopping differently. But all paint is different
