The best stuff EVAR! It's an orange based cleaner that'll take the cosmoline off faster than you can "man I hate cosmoline". And allows cleaning such as:

Not to be confused with Shamwow ....

Xenit is a spray cleaner made by the Stoner company (no pun intended) that's been proven by Rennlister's to be one of the most effective cleaners for undercarriage O.C.D.

Stoner has an entire line of automotive cleaning/polishing products, the Xenit is on the far left...

Is this stuff available in the U.K.? I'm pretty sure you can order it online ....

Never heard of it before, but a quick search on Google finds it in the UK at £7.78 per tin plus carriage - that's about $12 a tin? Is it really worth it??

cosmoline is the nasty brown sticky waxy stuff they sprayed the undercarridge of 993s with (at least on this side of the water) for protection.

What an incredible job. And in about 4 hours it will be getting shot in the paint booth!

Apologies John. No larceny intended. Sometimes the best picture of an object is when it is displayed with the best picture of an object in the background! Clearly, your project and the resulting finish by the Fister maestros create a compelling case for undercarriage improvements by our cousins across the pond!!

Calm down, Tiger!

It's all happening, Phil's just setting the car up on stands in the booth ready to bag it with masking film and start cleaning the panels for base coat.

Brucie bonus this morning as well:
Lee's polishing the seat backs so they can go off to the Andy our trimmer next week. Nice hood in the background. (see, I'm slowly learning to talk American!)

Happy now?
