Oh absolutely this, which is why every factory built race car has AWD, just like my Cup car! Couldn’t go fast in the corners without it!

I sense a bit of envy here It’s not about being “triggered.” Last I checked we all here (or most of us) own 993s NB, WB, Turbo, RS … these are all amazing engineering marvels. Whatever variant, they are all special machines and we are very fortunate to own.

So….when people spew “mis information” or don’t have all the facts it only makes sense to correct.

The only person spreading misinformation is you and your inflated sense of self. Try not to hurt your neck while looking down your nose at us lowly NB owners.

Delusional....

Mods: Can we get a sub forum for all these pricing threads? They're clearly not technical and detract from all the good conversations here. Maybe you can make Gbos the WB moderator.

most people try to state their opinions as nicely as possible

less so in these value threads where everyone is ultimately 'talking their own book'

if you ask a technical question you'll probably get a nice response pretty quiclky but in here we measure our...

I couldn't be happier with our NB; easier to avoid potholes and such on the terrible New England roads....with the twin grill....oh the horror!!

Just one of the many examples of AWD in Race Cars….

The R18 e-tron “quattro” (this is Audi’s AWD system) won at the Le Mans in 2012, 2013 and 2014 marking the end of an era for Audi domination in the WEC championship.

let that sink in…. Won LeMans 2012,2013 and 2014 with AWD.

Audi has 13 wins at LeMans where Ferrari has 9.

I guess ya'll are going to make me tell him.....

You completely missed the joke. His cup car is RWD. He was not agreeing with you.

And not a single F1 car is AWD.... since you want to compare oranges to bicycles.

This is dumb and I fell for it. Well done, I'm out.

I get it, and apparently you “lack in reading comprehension” if you read what I just wrote. Plenty of AWD race winning cars out there and LeMans is the biggest so what is your point?

it's honestly probably my fault for the S jab, but i really was just trying to again make the point about collectability driving a car's value vs performance driving the value.

i smiled to myself with the same thought when i saw some 964 go for multiple hundreds of thousands of dollars the other day. then i went for a drive in my 993.
