Let me correct your sentence……. a “Carrera S WB” is nothing but a narrow body Carrera on a WB shell. Yes.
Both are rare and the C2S is even rarer.
1997-98’ C2S = 3,714 made World Wide only. US imported 1,752
1996-98’ C4S = 6,948 made World Wide. US imported 2,327
A C4S WB is different like:
1. Big Red Turbo Brakes and Rotors from the Turbo
2. TT Brake Boost System
3. AWD system excellent dry and wet handling. Porsche 4wd system is 95% rear and 5% front. Viscous coupling system. When rear slip is apparent, the viscous coupling transfers up to 40% front and 60% rear, so increasing traction under power whilst maitaining rwd bias.
4. M030 Sport / Beefier Suspension thana C2
5. Turbo front and rear bumpers
6. C4S came with ABD and LSD the C2S Did not.
7. Wider rear for more rubber = better grip and handling.
8. 18” Turbo wheels.

Since 90% of my driving is within the speed limit and I don't track my car - I would much rather have a 4S vs.a 2S considering the above mentioned extra's, particularly since it carries the Turbo look package.
The 2S is worth more $, but who really cares - thats what IRAs, SEPs, and 401Ks are for.

I agree about the C4S, my car is by far the best car I ever had the previledge to own. On dry roads, it takes sharp curves very fast without ever having a feeling of loss of control. t's impressive.
However, one thing I need to mention. I once drove the C4S in the rain, getting onto the Autobahn at only 50 mi/h.
When accelerating I almost lost control, the car went sideways, perhaps about 15' and it didn't feel great for a second.
So, even with a four wheel drive, be careful on wet roads with a C4S, it can get tricky.

This is a NB thread, so why don’t you leave and stay on the WB thread where you can stroke each other about how great your cars are. You are so easily triggered and your responses always the same.
