I have no doubt of the Added Premium above MSRP you allude to .. GT car allocations are like black AMEX cards. Not everyone gets one. .
My bad, guess daily intoxication came a bit earlier w/ Christmas getting close. I misunderstood it to mean 993 C2S = 992 GT3 Touring + Cash. Instead of 993 C2S + Cash = 992 GT3 Touring.
Good luck. Hope you score the perfect outcome.

$189k and 9 days to go.

This may bring more than the $230k example that recently sold on Pcar.

Nice car but the $230k example on Pcar was leaps and bounds nicer than this one.

depends on who is looking. This one is collector car status. The other was an enthusiast dream build. I’d wager this one will go for higher.

The photography for this one is amazing and really gets your attention. I wonder though if it is 'enhanced' in any way. Really sharp example.

I think this car is pretty flawless but there are filters applied to the the pics and its in a white room. Amazing what that white room does to make cars look great…

BAT car has no notable options.

PCar example had aerokit, sport seats, deviated stitching, carbon interior. Humour me please—how is that not the more desirable car?

(that’s a rhetorical question)

you wonder if professional photos taken by iamted7 on Instagram are enhanced or not?

Agree with @WantA997

The BaT car is very nice, but pretty normal spec. I am sure I will forget about it in a couple weeks. That car that @LAURIER sold on pcarmarket I will think about and wonder if I should have bought for years to come. I think it was a great deal for the buyer. I’m sure the BaT car will sell for more, both because it is on BaT and it has the “perfect” looking photos.

Some of these bidders could care less about options like we all do….. hell they probably can’t tell the difference from a well optioned vs less optioned one.

The quality of the photography definitely impacts the sale price.

I often wonder how many are disappointed when the car arrives and the in-person view doesn’t come close to the vanity pics.

To some, the Aerokit package is a detractor. And I question if the deviated stitching on its Sports Seats was actually an OEM option or done aftermarket... never seen it from the factory unless it was with a Turbo S or something and matched the rest of the interior. But yes, if that car did $230 and the white C4S on BaT did $203, it would make sense if this car landed somewhere in the middle.

I have a nearly identical Aerokit black/black ‘97 4S with hardbacks and full leather and carbon and deviated red stitching from the factory. Just not as nice as that car as mine has 55k miles.

That happened to me. Although I blame the PPI for not taking any of the pictures they promised and failing to catch obvious flaws. The damn transporter however did an A+ pickup inspection and brief to me when the car arrived, and they caught everything! Go figure, the only honest one in the bunch.
