I like the sport design front bumper on base much better than the old sport design bumper. Standard bumper looks worth though but just my personal taste, maybe.
the sport design side skirts are now just the standard ones painted, they dont have the smaller gt style fin as before
I bet that is a configurator issue as sport design is available painted or matte, and side view looks more like 992.1 sports SS. I spent much of yesterday messing around with my painted SS and installed GT3 SS - they're haunting me right now!
wow...talk about the nail on the coffin for the manual. not even in the base 911?
so if the 992.2 base Turbo offers a manual and GT cars con't to offer a manual, we have to spend +200K for a manual 911?? Maybe the S or the T will offer but that will probably be close to 140-50?
this is the crab-in-the-pot play......slowly warming us to PDK only cars.........mark my word

Just checked out the 992.2 Base in the New 992.2 Configurator:
- Must pay extra for any color other than black and white - Guards Red and Yellow now cost extra
-No MT (as expected)
-388 HP (v. 394 stated in press release video but maybe be PS v. HP difference?)
-Rear Seats now a no cost option ?
-Cost of Sport Design Pkg increased by approx. $2k+
-HD Matrix headlights = $1780 option
-extended range fuel tank still $230 !
-Starting MSRP $122,095
-MSRP 2024 992.2 Base configured as close as possible to my 2022 992S but with PDK instead of MT = $148,200
-MSRP 2022 992.1S configured as close as possible but with MT instead of PDK and side skirts = $140,000

1. GTS did go to 3.6L as was rumored. Also hybridized. Surprise: SINGLE TURBO.
2. Base 3.0L looks to be largely a carryover.
I predict a fairly rapid rollout of the "other" models in the coming months including S and Carrera T models, both with manuals available (my prediction). "Turbo/Turbo S" models during summer with twin turbo hybridized powertrain?
So I flop so hard, ***** wanna fine me But first Rennlisters gotta find me What's 50 grand to a **** like me (deviated stitching and ionizer)? Can you please remind me? Flop so hard, this shiz crazy Y'all don't know that don't shiz faze me Stuttgart could go 0 for 62 in 1.80

Correct me if I’m wrong,
So no manual option?
I only see PDK only
Thanks!
Yes. It was quite common knowledge that the 992.2 hybrid in whichever model trim it came to would be without the manual. It is seriously doubted that the GTS with this hybrid will re-introduce the manual transmission. The electric engine in the turbo charger could but not the additional electric engine to the drivetrain. I could be wrong.
The base was also update and has not had a manual. That leaves the reintroduction of the S model as the only potential spot for the manual. (Along with the T potentially).
Base Carrera has 388hp and curb weight 3342 lbs. 992.1 is 3354 lbs. Assuming the 992.2 weight is without rear seats as default. No info on motor assist on the base car.

Manual was not available in previous base Carrera either. I'd bet S and Carrera T will be along VERY soon with a manual offering.

Correct no rear seats standard.
Base comes with the 992.1 GTS turbos and the 992.1 Turbo intercooler seems like some nice room for aftermarket tunes
Watching SG at around 14mins discussing running GTS battery to 0% after one trip around the ring...
So only get about 7mins flat out with max hp. Not great for the track.
