The Cargraphic unit makes the biggest difference in the range below 4K. Your valves always fully opened above that when you’re full throttle.

Did you have some time with the Akrapovic alone before adding the cargraphic module? I have about 3k miles on my Akra and love the change over PSE, and certainly wouldn't mind louder. Some other posts in this thread seem to indicate Cargraphic on top of the Akra was a less noticeable change -- your thoughts?

 

If you have a valved exhaust the Cargraphic will make a HUGE difference period.

 

I think the Cargraphic controller with the Akra will be the sound you were hoping for when you installed just the Akra.

 

I had the Akrapovic slip-on on my car for about 9 months before I did the Cargraphic on top of it. The valve controller makes a HUGE change at idle and lower RPMs (around town driving). The sound is MUCH deeper. There was little change with the valve controller above around 4k rpm.

Both of you are spot-on.

This is what I was hoping for with just the Akrapovic... now it is just right. I do wish that I could tone down the cold start sound at times (it is rather loud - sorry neighbors), but when I want to really hear the car this combo is fantastic.

I installed my unit today. It was really easy to do and the only challenging thing was getting the passenger side connectors off and that was only challenging because of the limited space to work. Removing the aerokit, mounting the controller (I bought a small bracket at Home Depot to mount it similar to the one Flat6 provides) and running the cables was super easy.

This was one of the easiest and best mods I've ever done on a car. The change in sound below 4000 RPM is very significant as others have noted. I would say it is 50% to 75% louder than OEM in sport mode. I programmed my HomeLink and it works perfectly.

Very happy with this and highly recommend it to anyone who wants more sound. The car is no longer quiet under 4000 RPM and has a better and more consistent sound throughout the rev range. It also feels like a much "deeper" sound.
