ADMs dropping

If you received your allocation after the price increase, I guess that makes sense it would affect your order. Also makes sense that the price increase applies to 2024 MY cars. For context, I got my allocation in early March, TYD shows late May/June build and July delivery, it’s a MY23.

Dropping a data point... I paid $175k for a '22 C2GTS with window sticker at $155k. It was originally delivered May 2022, has 1,800 miles, and has only lightweight pack with LWBs, extended range fuel tank, power steering plus, and Bose as options. Fairly light build. With the price increases for MY23 the same build is in the low $160k range. And probably about the same increase +/- $7,500 for MY24 and cannot have LWBs or lightweight pack.
Overall I feel OK, but not ecstatic about the deal. It would have been a great buy at $165k. That said, the pain of a marginally too-high price will wear off over the next 18-months while I'm driving the car instead of waiting for an allocation.

I think "the pain" will wear off in a week!
Good luck and congrats!

Just got an allocation for a 2023 GTS at the pre-incrase MSRP and $20k ADM. Someone else passed on that allocation (not sure why) and I am next. With my build, the ADM works out to be about $8k (after deducting $12k increase in MSRP if I wait for 2024.) The only bummer is that aerokit is not available right now. I should get the car in June or July depending on PECLA scheduling.

I hope it works out for you. But the Porsche announcement on it had stated that it will be a wait of up to 65 weeks. Definitely try though, doesn’t hurt!

Charing ADM is not criminal. Nothing illegal about it. Do I think it is a bad practice that can hurt future brand loyalty and repeat buyers? Absolutely. Not sure why you are against it having paid MSRP. Only helps resale of your car!

I read it the same way people say "Putting ketchup on steak is criminal" - i doubt anyone was excepting the Spanish inquisition

Funny, I had just read that the actual inquisition was always expected and announced publicly at church monthly. (not sure if this is really true)

No I get that. It's just some people that come on here don't necessarily know that. I bet there are some people that think dealers aren't allowed to charge ADM. I'm probably being overzealous on this. HAHA
