charles or john. again, thank you for both for all your support and helpful advice.
on a base 992 if you add in the gts turbos and the m-tune ... is the tune essentially the same that porsche does from the factory on the gts or do you tweak it (aside from the cold start ellimination feature, etc.). how different is your tune from a porsche gts from the factory?
if you go with the pure 800 turbos, what is the current lead time to get them back? and you do advise a pro-tune with those, right? and if i have a base do the revise the turbos on the car or do i need to order the gts turbos and then they revise those?
thanks!

I'll let Charles comment on the tuning front, it's essentially a Stage 1 tune for the GTS, so up quite a bit from stock. We have both the GTS and Pure 800 turbos in stock. We can also use a base turbo and make a Pure 700 which is similar to a GTS turbo in size (a smidge larger). We plan to start stocking those soon as a more cost effective alternative. We have some cores ready to go. Pure 700 or Pure 800s will require pro tuning.
I can check on the dyno here, we've done a bunch! But Stage 2 vs Stage 1 is about 20 to 30whp or so.

There are some table and OS differences between the GTS and other models, but yes, essentially it's the same Stage 1 tune for a GTS.
Jon is correct, I usually estimate power about 5% different from 91 to 93.

Ok just ordered the stage 2 tune from M-Engineering (thanks for the Dragy holiday deal!) and my Europipe 50 cell cats just came in. Waiting on the CSF Intercooler and do88 performance tubes and my yearly service to gap my plugs to .22 and I will bring her into Jotech to install everything. Will probably do Pure Turbos in the near future but want to see what a well cooled stage 2 will bring. Cannot wait!

I'd definitely see where this lands you. The main issue the rest of the car is gonna run into is turbo air cooling (IATs) requirements are gonna max out the intercooler setup. Even the CSF is still gonna have IATs spiking so if you're looking to go bigger the than GTS turbo size be aware you probably won't be able to fully utilize them (at least repeatedly in short succession) without methanol injection as well. The other downside to bigger turbos is they're going to have more turbo lag on them - they'll likely flow more on the top end of the RPM range, but just be aware you're boost won't come on as fast. What one giveth, the other taketh away and you start to see why the 911 Turbo has a 3.7L motor. Normally I wouldn't even bother bringing it up, but these cars are so driver focused from the factory, you may find you like it less when it behaves more like a single turbo N54 if you go too far. There will always be tons of cars capable of beating you in a straight line regardless, I'd hate to have you lose the driving dynamic that makes porsches special in the corners.

Can you shed some light on how this is being accomplished? The minute amount of hp bump can potentially come exclusively from timing, fuel calibration or is it through boost increase, as is the case with stock GTS?
Thx!
