How is this different from your earlier tunes for C2S; despite many attempts at trying different files my 2021 C2S kept misfiring with your tune at 5-6k rpm and threw CEL codes to the point you asked me to change my spark plugs or coils.

Yet when I used one of your competitors then (softronic) everything ran well with strong boost and no misfire or CEL. Is the current GTS any different from what you offered 8 months ago?
Has there been any consideration in dropping a heat range for the spark plug? With the increased boost and and associated cylinder temps, wouldn't this warrant a colder plug?
With a little more context.... For the stage 1, stage 2 tunes for 91/93 octane pump gas.

if you have a tune that’s working well with strong boost why would you even want to go back and try one that didn’t work for you earlier?

I had the same experience except they refused a refund.

I've been having problems with the M-Engineering tune since more than a year, I didn't ask for a refund though. Now I disabled it and I'm staying on stock.
We are always here to help after the sale! Our calibrations are very well vetted and we have tuned quite literally hundreds of these cars.
If you are having misfire issues that are unrelated to a spark issue, it is very possible that your car may have an injector issue. We've seen this on a dozen plus cars at this point. This happens every once in a while to a few cars and there is even an official TSB from Porsche for them. The piezo style injectors are known to have issues on this platform both for the Carrera and Turbo models. The symptoms are generally noted as a misfire in one or multiple cylinders. Sometimes and injector fault will be present but not every instance. The issue becomes exacerbated with more power. The fix for this is a full injector replacement and reprogramming by the dealership. In all cases I have seen Porsche has replaced them under factory warranty.
We have a big notice about this in our map notes.
In regards to colder step plugs, they are not needed. Simply gapping down the factory plugs is sufficient. The issue with the factory gapping or larger gapping is spark blowout, similar to how when you use your breath to blow out a candle. If you tighten the gap its harder to blow the plug out with more boost.

You guys have been quite patient with me in the last year or so and have sent me around 8 updated maps after I had shared logs. However you never mentioned any troubleshooting paths. I'll be taking my car to an independent garage to connect it to PIWIS and see if we can find anything that helps my problem. Do you recommend anything in particular I should be looking at?

The PIWIS should have a section where you can view live data and watch the misfire counter. That would be a good place to start.

The few cars that have had this issue all flashed on their supplied "Uninstall" files and got them replaced under warranty without issue. Once the injectors were replaced the issue was no longer present.

so if you uninstall won’t it erase the codes and the misfire won’t show up on piwiis?
